Flower and bee stitching for the summer

Cross stitch pillow, needlebook and scissor fobs featuring a bright blue flower with a little bee buzzing around.

It has been a while but I am still here!

This is some of the designing and stitching that I have been doing lately, a cute pillow with matching needle book, scissor fobs and new Father Christmas stitching.

The pillow is stitched on 14 count white Aida fabric with 2 strands of DMC stranded cotton thread and for the petals I used DMC Coloris thread number 125.

The matching scissor fob was stitched on the same white Aida and the second smaller fob was stitched on Zweigart linen fabric.

I used Mill Hill beads for stitching around the edge, if you want to check out my new YouTube channel I have a video showing you how to attach beads to a small pillow or scissor fob, it is not an in-depth video but it gives you an idea how to do the beading.

Free Pattern

The free cross stitch patterns are available below for you to download, I hope you enjoy stitching the patterns. EDITED: If you are having trouble printing the pattern please use the word “Bee” (without the quotation marks) only if the document asks for a password when trying to print. I have uploaded the patterns again below to print without a password.

Christmas stitching

Christmas stitching has also been on my stitching list, I have designed a new cross stitch pattern for my Etsy shop here.

Until next time, Happy Stitching!

Just what I was looking for. Small and fresh looking! I’m sure my ‘girls’ in the craft club will also enjoy doing this one. Thank you from Bretagne!

Oh my goodness, what an adorable design, you have a talent for choosing the perfect thread colors and fabric to make a design.
    So pretty.
