Cross stitched Christmas Mouse

Don’t you just love this little mouse?

I certainly do, I have loved every single stitch because she is so darn cute! I think it only took me a few evenings to stitch, I have yet to finish it but I have no card stock left that I use for flat folds.
This is another Ali Express cross stitch kit purchase and I love it.

Stamped Cross Stitch Kit

Have you ever stitched a stamped cross stitch? Mmmm, I was always a bit sceptical thinking I would hate it but I decided to order a stamped cross stitch kit from Ali Express just to see if I would enjoy stitching one, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at how much I am enjoying it.
I have been flying from France to the UK almost every month this year and wanted something easy to stitch on the plane and this fit the bill perfectly. Instead of the fabric being plain it already has the design stamped on the fabric and you cross stitch over the colours, once finished you soak it in tepid water and all the markings disappear and you are left with your cross stitch design that you have stitched.

Aida 10 count or 14?

I love using 14 count Aida but decided to try 10 count as I wanted to be able to see the stitches easily and  without taking a magnifier with me, I thought I would not like stitching 10 count thinking the stitches would be a bit cumbersome and not look pretty, but again I was surprised at how much I am enjoying the process of stitching these tulips.
If you are a beginner cross stitcher these kits are perfect! This post is not sponsored I just love these kits so much and wanted to tell you all about them! Lol….

Craft Room News

Apologies everyone, my craft room is delayed again, I thought I would be ready by now but we have rarely been home for longer than a few weeks and then we have been travelling again, there were some days where I had to think where I was in the morning!

I am going to IKEA again in December  to get some more drawers and hopefully my husband will put them together for me for Christmas!
I have quite a bit completed but still a way to go yet before I can show you all around, although it is coming together slowly.

Tulip Cross Stitch

Kit includes fabric, needle and threads.

You can still see the colours underneath but they will wash away when soaked in water

Until next time, happy stitching!

Best Wishes and Happy Stitching.

Lovely start and finish! The tulip piece is sure to stun once it's finished. My mom is also a fan of Ali Express stamped kits, as her eyes aren't what they used to be and it helps her to keep on stitching.

That little mouse looks só cute!
The tulips are becoming very beautiful. It must be strange and handy in the same time not to look on a chart anymore.
I totally understand the finishing of your craftroom has delayed. When you have to travel so oft and you need time to relax also. Hope there is no bad reason to travel up and down so much…..

You mouse stitching is adorable. I really like the kit you are showing for the stamped tulip. I have never seen them like this before. In the US we have the ones on muslin and you did embroidery stitches, but I love this one with cross stitch on aida. Looking forward to seeing more of your progress on this in the future. 🙂 Wishing you a lovely day.

I love that little mouse! I think I have the same design but her little coat is green. Might have to look her out and stitch her again!
