August mini cat pattern

Hi everyone, sincere apologies for the delay of posting the free mini cat pattern for August, we had a large storm in France which managed to disconnect power lines and the internet was off for about three weeks. A large tree in my garden was struck by lightening and it came crashing down, thankfully not near the house!
Unfortunately I have a fear of thundering and lightening, my husband was away and I was very scared! Lol..... I know it won't really harm me but the thunder noise together with large flashes really freak me out, I simply have never got used to thunder and lightening, it always makes people laugh when they see how scared I am!

This storm was quite fierce, my garden furniture was flying around the garden, it was unbelievable how fast the wind picked up, I nearly went out onto the deck to move the garden furniture before the wind got hold, I am glad I didn't because it gathered momentum within about 30 seconds and I would have been blown up into the trees!

Thankfully the storms have passed and we have lovely weather again, I am now relaxed enough to do my cross stitch.

Cross stitching and finishes

I have designed the September mini cat for 2018 and will be on my blog on Freebie Friday next week.

They have returned from honeymoon and now have lots of washing to do!

I have also had quite a few of my cross stitched pieces framed, I am excited to show those over the next few weeks.

Mini cats for 2018, only three more to design.......

I am thinking of making a box to house the monthly designs, if I do I will be showing a tutorial.

You can get the free patterns from my blog

Until next time, happy stitching!

Lynn, you made me laugh with the honeymoon is over comment. So glad the weather is back to calm for you! They are both really sweet designs and the way you have all the months displayed in the last pic is just gorgeous!

These mini cats are adorable. I am with you - I do not like lightening, thunder and high winds - being alone makes it even worse!

Glad you have internet again! The storms sound awful, no wonder you were scared!

Your August mini cat is so cute - my hair stylist just returned from a trip to Paris with her hubby and she will love this! Thank you!
Living in FL, we have lots of storms like this, especially this summer. I like watching them from our porch but not by myself!

That was a horrible storm you experienced and glad to hear you have beautiful weather again. All your finishes are beautiful and I love your new design for September. Thanks for making such great patterns.
