Hi everyone, here is my latest sewing project recently put together as a gift.
I used some fabric out of my stash but was astounded to see the date on the side of the bolt of fabric, 2002! I remember buying this and it was as if it was yesterday, time goes so fast.
I made the drawstring pouch which can be used for small knitting or cross stitch projects and I also made a matching notions pouch and a small pin cushion. I love the cherry earrings, they were perfect for this gift and I also added some magic wish ball progress keepers too.
There will be a replica of this bag going in my shop soon, I only have enough fabric to make one more.
Stitching and knitting news
I have been stitching on Little House Needleworks Home of a Needleworker this week and also I have been doing some knitting, I finished a scarf for my husband for Christmas, it just needs blocking and then I can show it on my blog. He is very knit worthy because he always comments on my projects!
I really have the knitting bug at the moment, I have just started a lace shawl/scarf, not sure if I can do the stitches yet but I am going to give it a try, I will show progress on that soon.
I made another notions pouch with a black zip as I had no red ones left.
I took delivery of some small tins this week for my Etsy shop, this is the first set I have just put together and I love it!
Until next time, happy stitching!

More gorgeous bags Lynn! I think the black zip looks just as good as the red.
How are you getting on with Home of a Needleworker? It's a lovely design.
Glad to hear your husband appreciates your handiwork. Mine isn't interested at all!
Beautiful projects - I know your husband will be thrilled with his scarf. Hope you are having a great holiday season.
Wonderful and cheerful.
What sweet finishes you have! Love that little tin too.....it's so sweet.
Lynn: What a cute little bag and goodies, cherries are such a sweet sentiment on anything.
Love the tins, you are going into a different direction, I love it.
