Hi everyone, I am so pleased I managed to finish Little House Needleworks Home of a Needleworker, the colours are so pretty and I really enjoyed stitching it.
I am going to put it with a selection of other finished pieces and take them to the framers in England to get them framed all at the same time. (More photos below)

I have just started stitching another pretty design by Little House Needleworks called "Quilt Time Sampler", I will show my progress on that one in my next post.
The Hands on Design series of monthly patterns that I stitch onto the pillows are taking a back seat at the moment but I am intending to get November and December stitched over the next few weeks and finished into pillows.
I have been enjoying making a scarf for my husband for Christmas and making a lace shawl for myself, I am so pleased that I finally found a lace pattern that was easy to knit.
Two kits to catch up on.
The colours are so pretty in these two
This is the scarf I have knit for my husbands Christmas pressie.
It is a free pattern from The Lion Brand Website, I used Stylecraft Special Chunky, a lovely soft yarn.
You can read about it on my Ravelry page here
This is the lace shawl I knit for myself, it is such an easy pattern and once you get going on the pattern it knits up pretty fast. I call it my Aqua Blue shawl but the name of the pattern is the
Radiant Look Shawl by Lorna Miser, you can see the details on my Ravelry page here
I am looking forward to wearing this on sunny days when there is a chill in the air or needed inside when the air conditioning is rather cool!
It is another free pattern of course!
I have been doing a little bit of sewing for my Etsy shop, I sold some of my lavender sachets and decided to make another one from the vintage fabric I purchased from the Dordogne.
It smells gorgeous!
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year, until next time.......
Happy Stitching!
