My gift arrived at its destination and a shop update!

Hi everyone, the gift I sent to my blogging friend has arrived at its destination, yay!
Here is the gift I sent my blogging friend Kim from Wisdom with Needle and Thread blog, it has been in my to do list for quite some time but I finally got around to making something special.

I know that Kim loves the Tudor era so I thought blackwork would be the perfect gift, I don't think I have stitched blackwork before but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I made the project pouch that is large enough for a small cross stitch project to fit into, I also made the Paris bag because Kim had said how much she loved it when she saw it on my blog. The little lucky pinkeep was another easy choice as Kim had said she loved that too, so it all went together into a little parcel and off to my friend across the pond.

I have a message for one lady called Patricia, sorry I have not replied to your last two emails, I can't because you are a no reply blogger and I therefore cannot contact you unless you leave me your email in a comment. Anyone else who has not received the Miss Mini Cat pattern is also a no reply blogger, sorry!

Etsy shop update

I have been updating my Etsy shop with some new cross stitch patterns from some lovely designers, the only trouble with this is I want to stitch them all!

One of my customers ordered a pair of my silver toned scissors, of course I just cannot send them without making a surprise pouch to match, so I decided to make this little pouch, hot off the sewing machine this morning!

Mini giveaway!

Would you like to be in with a chance of winning one of my little scissor pouches like the one in the photo? All you need to do is visit my Etsy shop here and tell me what your favourite listing is, also tell me what you would like to see in my Etsy shop, maybe a bag in a particular colour or a particular cross stitch designer.
You will need to be a follower of  my blog,( I will check!!!!) I will choose one winner.
The giveaway will close on Saturday evening of the 16th September GMT at 7pm.

I seem to be in a black mood today, not literally but choosing black fabric!

Here are the latest patterns in my shop.

Madame Chantilly Halloween Owls and Country Cottage Needleworks Pumpkin Cottage

This is one of my favourites by the very talented designer Cuore Batticuore called Pumpkins Farm.

I looove this craft room pattern by the same designer

Christmas Owls by Madame Chantilly

Barbara Ana designs

Country Cottage Needleworks

These gorgeous samplers by Elizabeths Needlework Designs are also a favourite, but to be honest I want to stitch them all!

I only have one of each pattern with the exception of Country Cottage Needleworks Pumpkin Cottage, I have 2.

Until next time, happy stitching.

Beautiful work - love the blackwork projects - something about black and white that is so classy. I am just now catching up with blogs - Hurricane Harvey struck our area - Houston, Texas is so sad - so much destruction and misery. We were very fortunate - no damage at all. My daughter had water up to her front door but nothing got inside - thank goodness - they were moving their belongings upstairs when suddenly the water started to recede - so lucky. We had 30 inches of rain in our area - I have never seen rain like that - many areas got up to 50 inches. It is really unbelievable the damage that has been done - many roads are still closed, grocery stores are bare and gas is hard to find. This is my third hurricane and by far the worse. It is one for the history books! Back to blog life - love everything in your shop but my favorite is the tilda pouch (green and pnk) - the owl pouch is another favorite. I enjoy all the items you make so please continue to do so - you put so much love into your work. Hope you are having an enjoyable weekend.

Gorgeous project bag and I love the Blackwork look....stunning. Your Etsy store looks great with all the wonderful patterns, notions and bags. Love everything especially the Country Cottage Needlework. Your Miss Mini at Harrod's turned out beautifully.

You are amazing!

Hi Lynn, Of course I like everything, but since I especially love all things Paris, my favorite is the Paris bag, since I've already stitched the Afternoon in Paris chart. 😊 Thanks for the chance.

Thank you for your lovely Blog. Can you please tell me if you have a pattern or tutorial for the pouch in the black & white picture? I would love to make this for family and friends.

Thank you.

Beautiful gift you sent, I just love those scissors!

So hard to choose one lovely thing from your etsy shop, but I'm a sucker for anything Christmas so I would have to say the Cookies chart by Cricket Collection, I haven't seen that one before, it's so cute!

I love the PDF pattern for the Noel cat...so cute! I'm drawn to seasonal fabrics when I look at bags, or bright and funky, or black and white with a pop of color :-) Love your blog!

You've thought of every detail! I love the Eiffel Tower pull. So cute and a very generous gift that I'm sure is well appreciated!

You are an amazing stitcher and sewist! I'd love to see a seasonal bag. The spider web stitch marker would make a great zipper pull!

Those scissors are fantastic! Can you share what kind they are/where you purchased them?

I love the NYC, London, Paris and Rome afternoons cross stitch kits. I've been to each city. What I really love is the blackwork you did for your gift. I'd love to have this pattern of all the needlework accessories. Can you share it or tell us where to get it. Really enjoy your site. Would also like a tutorial on finishing the needle keepers and fobs. Yours look so good and mine never look this nice. Thanks for all the things you share.
