The Goth inside me and other makes.

Hi everyone, I just had to make a bag to compliment my Heaven and Earth design Gothic Rose cross stitch and when I saw this fabric it just had to come home with me!

I have been doing a bit of stitching on her this week, it is quite slow going but I do love her as I am a bit of a Goth inside my head, just love that Gothic look!

The bag is made from cotton fabric using a clear vinyl for the front and I must say I am loving it.
I plan on making more of these clear front project bags for my Etsy shop here , there will certainly be at least one of these bags made from the skull fabric in the next week or so.

There is a matching notions pouch with a popper closure and the little pouch holds small scissors, I just need to find the right button for that, I am thinking of a deep red rose button to finish it off.

Other stitching and a bit of crochet
I have also made another project bag but this is a gift for someone, I can show it because I don't think they read my blog. It is a small project pouch with a clear front made with pink fabric, there is a matching scissor pouch too. (Photos below)

Quite some time ago I purchased a book, 100 Flowers to Knit and Crochet by Lesley Stanfield, I have finally managed to get around to playing with some of the designs from the book, I made a few crochet flowers that may be appliqued onto a cushion soon. The patterns are quite easy to make. (Photos below)

I loved making this, there are two poppers on the outside with a little heart just for decoration and it has a matching scissor pouch inside.

Here are the crochet flowers I have been making, they are very easy and quick to make.

Until next time, happy stitching!

The crochet flowers are so cute and whimsical looking! I like the idea of one side of a project bag being vinyl too, so easy to see what project is inside!
