Hi everyone, as promised I said I would take you inside the Sajou embroidery store in Paris, you are going to love it!
Be warned photo heavy post but I love lots of photos in blogs…….
First of all I will show you what I purchased, of course I had to get some fabric with the Sajou branding, I am going to make a pretty bag with this.
I purchased this cross stitch pattern which is very different to any others I have stitched before, they had a sample stitched and it was so pretty I simply could not resist.
To be honest I was pretty restrained in my stash buying, I could have bought many more items but I really do try to be good sometimes!
But first a look through the window, I could not wait to get inside, at this point my husband always giggles at how excited I get when I see a store like this!
Are you excited yet?
Now I was inside, my heart was racing! Lol……
The ladies were very helpful and they let me take as many photographs as I wanted.
It is not a very large shop but it is crammed full of pretty things, I did miss a corner where some silk threads were displayed but there were some ladies stitching and I did not want to disturb them.
I did not know where to look next!
Now this was my favourite part of the store, my husband nearly fainted when he saw the price of the scissors but I thought they were worth every single euro, they were gorgeous.
I really liked the ones on the right, they were very elegant, my husband said he would buy me some for my next birthday which just happens to be when the marathon is for next year, so I won’t let him forget!
Well, that is it, I hope you enjoyed your trip around the Sajou store.
If you don’t want to read about my latest update in my Etsy shop then look away now and I will see you next time but for those of you that do, here we go……
I have some lovely Just Nan needle tins and some more patterns.
Whenever I sell scissors in my shop I simply cannot resist making a little pouch to go with them, these are a little freebie to compliment the last pair I have for sale in my Etsy shop here.
Made from 100% cotton owl print and canvas , interfaced and lined inside.
I will be making more of these in the future, I have three now, they are so easy to pop your scissors inside especially when travelling.
New pdf patterns designed by me

Until next time, happy stitching!
Best Wishes and Happy Stitching.

Oh my! Excuse me for a minute while I mop up the drool on my keyboard! :)I adore french shops, there's just something about them and this one is no exception. Everything looks amazing. I wish I had known about this store when I was in Paris last year (my credit card is probably glad that i didn't know about it!) We went to Les Brodeuses Parisiennnes only to find that it was closed the whole week we were there 🙁 Maybe I should use that as excuse to take another trip!!! Enjoy your new stash.
Hiya Lynn ~ you lucky lucky stitcher, thx for sharing, swooning here…
There is only one word that comes to mind, after seeing all the lovely photos and all the lovely items in this shop. Delicious! Sort of like when you put a piece of chocolate candy to your lips and your mouth begins to water in anticipation of the pure bliss that you know will follow. Thank you so much for sharing these photos. I know I will never get to see France, so sadly, nor will I get to visit this shop…but thanks to you, I still got to visit it. Thank you. Wishing you a most lovely day. 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing your experience at the Sajou shop; I felt like I had died and gone to heaven, such eye-candy. I am a collector of many pairs of scissors, so I loved seeing all of the beautiful ones. Happy stitching and thanks again.
I am going to Paris in July and will be visiting Sajou. Thanks for the preview! I'm seeing LOTS of stuff I now want to buy…
You left the Sajou store? Voluntarily?? What an incredible shop, thank you so much for showing us around inside it! I know I'll never get there (which is probably a good thing since I'd certainly spend my entire paycheck!), so what delight to get to see all the lovelies.
Wow, wonderful store, must visit one day ha ha! Thank you for sharing those gorgeous photos! Love those scissors!
