Happy Easter, mini cats stitched by friends and Sajou embroidery store in Paris!

Happy Easter everyone.
I designed this mini cat for Freebie Friday last week and my friend Peggie sent me this today, wow, I can't believe Peggie stitched this so fast and framed it too! Isn't it gorgeous?

I also received some lovely photos from a lady called Sheryl who is raising money for a cat sanctuary, she kindly asked me if she could use my patterns and I said yes.

These are the designs stitched by Sheryl for the cat santuary.

New! Love to Crochet Mini Cat

I had a bit of a tidy up in my Craftsy store to make space for some new designs coming soon, I have just added my new Love to Crochet mini cat for all of you crochet lovers, it  is now available in my Craftsy store  and my Etsy shop I will be adding more patterns soon!

What have I been stitching this week?

I sold a pair of my embroidery scissors in the shop and I simply could not just pop them in an envelope to send them to the customer, I had to make a complimentary scissor pouch to match, it is fully lined and padded with lightweight wadding. I love these little pouches, I am going to be making more for my Etsy shop soon.

Currently I am working on a small cross stitch gift for a friend, I can't show that yet but it is pretty cute, I am also working on a crochet project to make some more pillows, some are in Autumn colours and I am going to be making some pale grey and pink ones too.

All prettied up and sent to the customer

My trip to Paris

We like to visit Paris every year in the Spring, however, three years ago my husband decided to enter the Marathon and he has run it every year since! He was fifty four when he ran the first one three years ago, and this year he has also entered the London Marathon next weekend which is only two weeks after the Paris Marathon! Wow! I am so impressed! He has always been into fitness and running but never attempted a Marathon until later in life.

Whilst there I remembered that I had always wanted to visit the famous Sajou embroidery shop and my husband took me there to spend a good hour looking at all of the beautiful things. I took lots of photos to post on my blog, I will be doing a special post all about my trip there in my next post, but for now, here are some photos of the front of the shop.

I purchased some fabric to make myself a project bag and a cross stitch pattern which was very different to what I normally stitch, I will show those when I do the post about my visit.

Peek into the window, I will take you inside in my next post.

Next week I will be travelling to London and on our return to France we will be visiting Germany and Switzerland, I am so excited! If I don't get the chance to post next week I will do so on my return in a few weeks time, we are not sure how long we will be travelling as we are just going to return home when we feel like it!

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter and until next time, Happy Stitching!

I love your adorable pouch made for the scissors; your customer is going to love it!! I am so envious of you getting to visit the Sajou store; I live in the USA so that is really not an option for me. I will be anxiously awaiting more of your post and pictures. Enjoy your trip and good luck to your husband with the marathon. Happy stitching..............
