Hi everyone, I have never stitched anything for my husband until now.
I thought this pattern was perfect for his birthday, I was not too sure
about the colours but I stitched it anyway and thought I could do another one
more in keeping with our decor, when I suggested this to my husband he said
" oh no way, it is an original so you can't change it now, it would not be
the same" he is such a sweetie! I wanted to change the colours to
grey and sparkly threads but he would not let me, so I thought I may stitch
another and we can have one on each side of the bed! Lol.....
I was so pleased when I found the frame, the aperture was just the right
size, it measures 4" square and was perfect for this design.

I love the gift you made for your husband. Sometimes it's the ones who are nearest to us, that never receive any of our work isn't it? At least once a year I try to make something for my DH, even if it is just a handmade anniversary card - it shows the love that still exists after 42 years!
Wow Lynn that is so generous of you to make a pattern for everyone! Now I just have to finally decide which photo I really want to tackle. My parents wedding photo is a scan of an old black and white image so probably would not be veery suitable do you think? I'd appreciate your advice if you've tried a b/w image before. I will start looking through my pictures and hopefully find the one I have in mind, but I'm thinking an older picture as in 30 years ago will not be a high enough resolution. Again, thank you.
