Summer Pillow

Hi everyone, here is my latest cross stitch design for the Summer, I will be making three more to go with this series, Autumn, Winter and then Spring,  all freebies of course. The pattern will be available on Friday as a Freebie Friday pattern with bee gift tags. The pattern is now available here.
I have designed this so it is reversible......

I forgot to iron on the interfacing before I stitched the back stitch and the threads now show through the fabric, I make that mistake far too many times!

The pattern is now available here and matching tags and a gift bag are available here

  1. Such a cute little bee can't wait until Friday. Great idea to iron on interfacing before doing backstitch. First time I heard of this will have to try. Thanks.

  2. I just wanted to thank you for your free patterns. I love bees, so this next one is definitely a "do". Same for all the kitties. Thanks Judy F.

  4. So lovely - do not be so hard on yourself! I am sure no one would notice the threads unless you pointed it out. We are always our own worse critic!

  8. Gorgeous! And what a good idea to apply the interfacing before backstitching - I've never heard of this before, but I'm going to try it!
