Hi everyone, it's Freebie Friday again!
I thought I would design a girlfriend for Mini Cat and here she is, just right click and "save as" to your computer, print and cut around the edge, punch a hole in the top and thread ribbon through and you are ready to attach them to your gifts.
Update re move to France
Quite a few people have been asking about my move to France, sorry I forgot to give you an update!
Nothing much to report regarding my move to France except we now know it was one of our better ideas, we wish we had done it years ago! We have moved to a rural part with fabulous views from every window, it is really quiet here which is what we craved, it is like being transported back in time to the 50's, (not that I was born then) when the pace of life was much slower.
It is ever so funny, we have to set an alarm clock to wake us in the morning as we keep sleeping in late because it is so quiet, I used to get up at 6 -7am but now we never hear a thing so are asleep until 10am, so of course there is no way I can do that every day as I have too many things to keep me busy!
I love driving on the roads with no traffic, it is so nice to take your time driving around the country roads and taking in the views.
We are very happy here, one of my favourite things about the house is the fabulous real woodburner in the lounge, I love it! There is nothing nicer than sitting in front of a real fire on a cold winter night with cross stitch in hand and a nice cup of tea.
My craft room is probably going to be the last room we decorate, I tend to take my time so it may be quite a while before you get to see photos. I loved my craft room in my previous house (click here for photos) but I have not yet decided if I am going to have fitted units or design it with a french theme of free standing furniture, but I am certainly looking forward to planning it.
When summer arrives I will take a photo from my craft room to show you the views from the window.
Stitching news
Santa's Village is nearly finished, just need to stitch the snow and the smoke from the chimney and I should be ready to post the final photos.
I have been designing some digital clip art, tags and labels and will incorporate these into a giveaway sometime this year, so keep a look out for those.
I have some Paris fabric that I am going to base one of my giveaways around and also I may do a tea themed one too, as you know I do love my tea giveaways!
Until next time, happy stitching!
