Work in progress and Spring design nearly ready.

Hi everyone, I have nearly finished stitching the Winter freebie......
I chose to stitch it on a white background instead of  the grey suggested in the pattern, I used DMC B5200 white, it is a bright white and shows up really well, I may stitch the snowflakes in silver, not decided yet. I used 16 count Aida for this project, I really love using Aida as the stitches are always supported nicely by the fabric, I sometimes think you can get a better finish using Aida.

I have nearly finished putting together the Spring pattern, I just need to start stitching it to test the colours and make sure it looks ok and then I will publish it on my blog and in my Craftsy store within the next few days, until then here is the picture of all four free patterns, they are all very easy for beginners or a quick stitch for advanced stitchers.

I have now finished the Spring design, you can download it from this post here

You can download Summer and Autumn here from my blog

If you prefer a pdf version you can get the free patterns from my Craftsy store here

Santa's Village is nearly finished, thanks for all of the comments, will show you all as soon as it is complete!

     Until next time, Happy Stitching!

I really like this one, Lynn, and plan to stitch all four eventually .... I seem not to be stitching as quickly these days. I'm nearly finished mine - just now working on the snow on the trees and still have the stars and winter to do; like you, I think the stars may not be the same white as the snow. I have a devilish time stitching white on any colour of background. It's Christmas week - enjoy.
