Hi everyone, I thought it was about time I gave you a little update on my travels.......
My first stop was the Merry Hill Shopping Centre in the West Midlands where I found a pretty shop called Oopsy Daisies, it was ever so nice, I asked the lady in the shop if I could take photos to show my blog readers and she kindly said yes.
It is worth a visit if you are in that area!
Such pretty things!
Very french don't you think?
Travelling in England and a visit to Rome
Our next stop was our planned visit to Rome, we had a wonderful time visiting the Sistine Chapel, St Peter's Basilica and the Coliseum, all of which were amazing. The Vatican City.
On our return we prepared the motor home for our next leg of our journey around England, we started off wild camping for the first night before we left for Worcestershire, it was quite funny because we were unsure how everything worked on the motor home but we worked it all out eventually.
I must admit I have quite taken to this style of living, particularly loving the fact that if we get fed up of somewhere we can simply drive to somewhere new.
So far we have driven through the counties of, Lancashire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire, our next county will be Buckinghamshire where we will visit Bletchley Park the top secret place of the Enigma Code Breakers during the second world war.
We visited Blenheim Palace on Sunday and are planning to visit Jane Austen's house this week in Hampshire, it has been on my to do list for many years. Jane Austen's house.
I will post photos of all our visits over the next few weeks.
Our new home in France.
We have found a lovely house in Central France, we found three that we really liked and one that we totally fell in love with and we both knew that this was the one! The paperwork is all being arranged and it should be ready for our arrival in October/November.
We are so excited, there are only a couple of houses nearby but not too close, with lots of space in the garden and gorgeous views from every window, it is a real haven of tranquility.
My new craft room space in the motor home
I managed to organise a little craft room space in our new temporary home, initially averything was in this bag and I pinched a couple of drawers before my husband saw them first! Lol.....
I have not had chance to do much cross stitch since we started our travels as we keep finding interesting places to visit.
My craft stuff in a bag!
I forgot to pack my embroidery lamp so I am struggling to see the small count fabric, however, I do have a project that is 14 count fabric so at least I can see that.
This is the Think Pink cross stitch pattern and Love to Bake cross stitch in progress.
This is Santa's Village work in progress, I only have two to finish but it ended up being an unfinished project.
I packed my little drill and glue just in case I got around to some finishing but I don't think that will happen!
Love this 2016 year planner, there are ever so pretty images inside.
I need to tidy up before I show the motor home inside!
Until next time, happy stitching!

Nice to see how you arrange all your creative stuf in the motorhome. Handy those drawers, we don't have them, so I have to put mine in a box, but that works also :-)
