Hi everyone, I have been stitching July mini cat and the August design is ready,
You can download the free August cross stitch pattern from the mini cat page together will the other mini cats in the series.
I have nearly finished stitching July mini cat, I altered the colour on the wall but I am not sure if I like it, I should have stitched the wall the same as the plant pots. Sometimes if I design straight onto the cross stitch software programme the colours don't show up the same as the actual colour.
I have now invested in a DMC colour chart with the actual threads on a piece of card, it makes choosing the colours so much easier.

Thankyou for all of the comments on the pink silk shawl, it seems I have inspired some of you to make one. I have just started another in a beige colour, I love them because they are so fast to knit.

Oh my.....August has arrived! :-)
He/she looks lovely with the sunhat and the little boats af see. It gives a really summery feeling. Todat 21th of june, the summer has officially started. But not outside: it looks like autumn.....
I still haven't started the july minicat, but I promise you; today I will :-)
