Tea for Two blog hop

Hi everyone, its Tea for Two blog hop day!
This blog hop was organised by the lovely ladies Mdm Samm at Sew we Stitch Cori from Creativity amongst Chaos ,  and Mary http://needledmom.blogspot.com/  who organised us all, three very talented ladies indeed.
Pop over to their lovely blogs and see what gorgeous creations these ladies make, you won't be disappointed!

I have posted a list of blogs at the end of this post so that you can see what everyone else has made for the blog hop, I am sure there will be some gorgeous creations for you to see.

I decided to make a tea box to hold my tea bags with a tea cosy to match, it is very small, just big enough for a delicate small teapot. I was inspired to make the tea cosy after seeing the gorgeous ones made by Jenny of Elephantz, she hand quilted one recently, it looked so lovely I thought I would give it a try.
( Jenny is joining in the blog hop, you can see the link below)

I made the gift tags using Photoshop Elements, my favourite software!

I love anything to do with afternoon tea, there is nothing like sitting down at a table that has white crisp  table cloths, a lovely tea pot covered with a gorgeous tea cosy and lovely china tea cups. No there is not a feeling like it.

Hand embroidered box top using Cori's gorgeous Tea for Two pattern

Trimmed with a pretty metal teapot

Hand made cord

I hope you  enjoyed my Tea for Two creations, here is the list of all the other ladies taking part......

Your tea box is just lovely! Such a beautiful job!
(I have to add that I'm always unable to read your text... it's too small for me and can only be read with a magnifying glass.. thought you might like to know this.)

Your creations are so sweet. Did you actually make the box, too? Maybe you should share how you made that cording - it's gorgeous. Your stitching is lovely and using it on the tea box was wonderful. Soon that box will have a soothing smell of tea, too. Hmmmm...lovely.
