Cross stitching, recent stash buying and a pattern in progress.

Hi everyone, here is my latest stitching, it is a lovely pattern by the designer Cross Eyed Cricket here.
There are a number of patterns in this collection, Summer is the first one I have decided to stitch and then hopefully I will get around to stitching the other seasons.

I have also been stitching a free pattern and getting it ready to put on my blog, this was originally a vintage card that you can download at The Vintage Moth Blog here   there are lots of lovely images on this blog that you can use in your craft projects.  I decided it would be nice to make it into a free digital cross stitch pattern with a 21st Century colour scheme, although I am also making the vintage card into a cross stitch chart freebie too, the free patterns for this should be ready sometime this next week.

I have also opened a Craftsy shop, I will be putting some of my free patterns on there as well as some new designs I am working on.

The verse is absolutely lovely.

I am a little unsure about the design of the flowers, I may need to work on that before I am satisfied with the result.
Edited: A vintage design of this free pattern is now available here

I treated myself to some new cross stitch patterns, these gorgeous Christmas patterns are by Sue Hillis Designs, when I saw them I just had to have them! I will certainly be making the Twelve Days of Christmas ornaments for my tree, don't you just love the Stitcher's days of Christmas pattern?

Thankyou for all of your lovely comments on my previous post, they are all appreciated!

Until next time ........
Happy Stitching!

Oh Lynn! Your new sampler is such a wonderful, loving tribute to mothers. Beautiful.

Beautiful Lynn, it is a really sunny pattern in these colors.
I love the Christmas patterns as well, don't know what it is, all year I'm looking at X-maspatterns ;-)
The vintage mothersdaycard I have given to my mum this year, but with a dutch translation, because she doesn't speak English. Somehow the text in English is more beautiful I think, but my mum was happy with the Dutch text.
Good luck with your X-maswork, I'm looking forward to the pictures.
Greetings again,

I love all the little motifs that are part of Vickie's designs. I am thinking of purchasing May and June.

Lovely stitching Lynn - all four seasons would make such a nice display. Ambitious goal but it sure would be nice! I am glad you treated yourself to some new patterns - so often we forget to treat ourselves!

Beautiful stitching Lynn.
I'd kind of lost my stitching mojo but seeing your lovely work has rekindled my interest.
I absolutely love the idea of the vintage postcard cross stitch.
It is already looking beautiful - can't wait to see more.
