Hi everyone, here is the cross stitch I started last week, as you can see it stitched up pretty fast!
I made this for my sister years ago and when I decided to stitch it for myself I was amazed to see it was actually a 1990's pattern, time certainly does fly! I used to look at this design every time I visited my sisters house and I always wanted to stitch it for myself, finally I actually got around to it.
I stitched each element on the shelf on one night a week plus one of the small elements on a couple of nights, so it stitched up in seven evenings.

ReplyDeleteI'll bet that was a lot of fun to stitch, Lynn--such bright and cheery colors. And I love all the little jars and motifs. Not sure if I could do well with all that backstitching--just look at all those individually backstitched cherries in the pie! It does make the design "pop"!
