Exchange gift has arrived at the destination

Lynn B Happiness is Cross Stitching

Hi everyone, here is the gift I made for my partner Heike in a recent exchange on Ravelry.

I made this little selection of gifts for Heike, I was supposed to make something knitted but Heike saw my cross stitch blog and asked if she could have something made from cross stitch, so here it is.
I crocheted the little pin cushion and made these little polymer clay pins to go inside, I then made a matching necklace, a small felt needlebook, a pinkeep using a free pattern for the cross stitch design and stitched Heike's initial in the bottom of the tray. I made it all in red as I knew it was one of her favourite colours.

You can see the gift that Heike sent to me at the bottom of this post.

You can find the necklace tutorial from my other blog here .

The cross stitch pattern for the pinkeep can be found here

The alphabet was also a free pattern, I will check and put the link on later when I remember where I got it from.

I painted this little tray and covered a piece of card with wadding and the cross stitch design, this was laced at the back and then glued into place.
