I have now moved away from my blue stitching for the moment and concentrated on a bit of red stitching, I designed this pretty little bag including the cross stitch design which is available as a freebie, I showed a sneak peak last week.I then decided to make a necklace with a mini sewing machine, so here it is!
I think its cute.............
I really do love making these, I get quite carried away in the process, I have also made two others but they are embroidered, I will show those next time. I think they make very pretty gifts for stitching friends, particularly if you want to make something quick. It was stitched on 32 count fabric to fit inside a 1" circle pendant.
I have a tutorial on my cross stitch finishing blog showing how to make these.
Right click on the pattern and click "save as" to your computer.
I have made a note on the pattern, it should say 2 threads over 2 instead of 2 stitches over 2 threads. Ooops!
Thankyou for all of your comments on my curtains in my craft room, I am glad you love them as much as I do!
Until next time - happy stitching!
Great little bag and necklace. Thanks so much for sharing the pattern.
