Little red bag and sewing machine necklace finished with free pattern.

Little red sewing machine cross stitch

I have now moved away from my blue stitching for the moment and concentrated on a bit of red stitching, I designed this pretty little bag including the cross stitch design which is available as a freebie, I showed a sneak peak last week.I then decided to make a necklace with a mini sewing machine, so here it is!

I think its cute.............

I really do love making these, I get quite carried away in the process, I have also made two others but they are embroidered, I will show those next time.  I think they make very pretty gifts for stitching friends, particularly if you want to make something quick.  It was stitched on 32 count fabric to fit inside a 1" circle pendant.
Sewing machine cross stitch

I have a tutorial on my cross stitch finishing blog showing how to make these.

Right click on the pattern and click  "save as" to your computer.

I have made a note on the pattern, it should say 2 threads over 2 instead of 2 stitches over 2 threads. Ooops!

Thankyou for all of your comments on my curtains in my craft room, I am glad you love them as much as I do!
Until next time - happy stitching!

Hi Lynn,
Just love all of your ideas & finishes. Wonder where you get your time, you have so many ideas & you bring them to life for us to admire. I fell in love with your little red bag- polka dot & the little frill & sewing machine. Could you let me know where to find the pattern to make the little bag. Would really appreciate. Thanks for your blog- it is an inspiration.

Hi Suzanne,

Thankyou for your comment, I don't usually respond on this page but you are a no reply blogger on your email so I hope you see this.
If you email me again with your email address I can give you some details on how I made the bag, it is my own design and very easy to make.

Best wishes
