Ooooo look what arrived for me today!!!!!
My sister came to visit today, we were having coffee and the doorbell rang, I knew that I was going to get a parcel but really wasn't expecting it until next week, to my surprise it was my exchange from The Heart Exchange Swap that I signed up for on Cheryls blog over at Gone Stitching My secret swap partner was Amanda from Amanda Loves Africa blog and look what she sent me!
Thankyou so much Amanda, I love it all! The attention to detail in this gift really took my breath away, you will know what I mean when you look closely at the photos.
Amanda sent me a lovely hand made crochet heart which was perfect considering I have recently started to crochet, and also crocheted the little flower on the top of the jar and matched it with the flower on the card and the gift tag, isn't it wonderful?!!!!!
Amanda even made the tag for the chocolates and the gift tag and also included some die cut card for card making and scrapbooking. Of course Amanda had even made it in my favourite colour! Can you believe it was her first ever swap, I am so glad I received it!
Thanks Andrea you put together a wonderful swap parcel that was a delight to receive.
Talking of wonderful, I received a photograph of a finished box top that was stitched using my peacock design, this was made by Ann one of my readers and I thought you should see what a lovely finish she has made, the photo is below. Congratulations Ann on such a lovely finish, it is beautiful.
I have also received another photo showing a design using my tutorial, I will show that on Sunday.
I have nearly finished my heart swap gift and that will be sent this weekend, and once my secret partner receives it I can show you what I have made.
Googlemail hiccup.
I do apologise if not everyone received a reply from any emails sent to me,apparently some were sent to the spam box directly because there was a fault on google, it has now hopefully been fixed.
I visited the Doctor today and I was given another month of pain killers, he said it would take quite a bit of time before I would be pain free and I have to see him again in four weeks time, although I do feel a lot better today .
Lots of pretty die cut card and a small mini frame.
Until next time, happy stitching!
What a lovely exchange, Amanda did such a beautiful job with everything.
