Hi everyone, I am back from my blogging break!
Apologies for the delay in posting, I did say I would be back on my blog at the beginning of December
I got a little delayed preparing for Christmas.
My blog has been closed for comments but I have now reopened the comments window, you are welcome to leave comments again if you wish!
Here is the first mug rug I have ever made, it is a gift for my sister and I love it! It isn't perfect but not bad for a first attempt, the sides are not perfectly straight but it will have to do, maybe next time I will improve on that. I love the design it is from SH Designs at Craftsy here
This lady has some really lovely patterns and they are so easy, particularly if you are a beginner quilter and have never tried applique before.

Stitching news
I have worked a little on Santa's Village but I have three more cottages to finish, hopefully I should get these finished by January, fingers crossed.
I have also been doing some more knitting on the black cardigan in my previous post, it is coming along nicely, I am currently knitting the sleeves, the back and sides are complete now -yay!
Of course I could not let Christmas go by without treating myself to some new stash, I purchased some gorgeous crochet thread from DMC, you can see the photo below.
I made this little gift tag to finish off the gift.
I may get chance to post again before New Year but if I don't I would like to thank you all for visiting my blog throughout 2013 and leaving such lovely comments.
