Cross stitch finishing ideas for Needlebook, Covered box, Strawberry scissor fob and bottle cap pincushion

Embroidered silk covered needlework box with matching strawberry scissor fob, needlebook, pincushion embroidered with gold coloured thread on silk fabric
Would you like some cross stitch finishing ideas?
I hope you like my embroidered covered box with accessories, including needlebook, scissor fob and bottle cap pincushion,  the box was supposed to be part of an exchange but I got glue on the fabric and it shows so I decided to start again and make something else, of course I made sure on the next project that I did not get glue everywhere!

I used DMC thread number 833 in this design, there are swarovski crystals on the scissor fob and I have put a small butterfly closing on the needlebook.

I absolutely love your finishes especially the type you've done here. Simply beautiful. I am willing to bet the recipient wouldn't mind a little glue showing on the box as it is just lovely.

Its ok to get glue on stuff…you aint gluing right if you don't!!!! It's stunning and part of the fun of making things yourself.

Oh, it is stunning, Lynn–each and every piece!! The little crystals add such a nice touch, too. What a shame about the glue–I do hope you can salvage some of the pieces 🙂
