The Edwardian Lady Box Set

Hi everyone, here is the final part of The Edwardian Lady Set..........
it has been quite time consuming as the stitching is one over one thread stitching but I am pleased with the result, the only thing I was going to do was put the patterned fabric around the outside of the box and have black fabric on the top and bottom but I forgot when I was making it.
If I were to make this again I would certainly not use black fabric as it showed every spot of glue!

You can find all the details of the cross stitch patterns on this post here and the tutorial for the Toblerone on my cross stitch tutorials blog.

Edited:  I forgot to say the pattern for the lady silhouette was a free pattern from The Swappons Blog but it appears to be no longer available, however, if anyone would like the pattern please email me and I will send a scanned copy as long as you state that the pattern was designed by the Swappons Blog and not me.

It has a small lift out tray to slot in the top.

For the needlebook just cut two pieces of felt, one slightly smaller than the other (1mm to 2mm smaller), embroider one side with your design and blanket stitch both pieces together (the smallest piece being on the inside) and there you have it, a pretty little needlebook.

Until next time - happy stitching!

Wow! Your Edwardian Lady set is absolutely stunning Lynn. You have put a lot of work into this set and it shows.
You might not have enjoyed working with the black but it just looks so elegant.
Love the touches of lace and the pretty embroidery. Everything is gorgeous.

Stunning. I love it in black and white. May I ask where the lady silohuette pattern on the box came from. I'd love to buy it so i can make one. Just beautiful.
