Small Marie Antoinette giveaway, work in progress and gifts from my sister.

Hi everyone, apologies for the delay since my last post, I have been very busy helping my husband landscape the front garden, I have found muscles I did not know I had! We decided to remove a small picket fence and replace it with a pretty hedge, it looks much nicer now but obviously I had no time to spend in my craft room.

Speaking of my new craft room, I still have not had the chance to finish off the painting touch ups that needed doing after the fitting out took place, I also need to get some curtains and a new chair, when I have done that I can than show you the final results. I am undecided whether to make curtains or buy them, the windows are not too large so it would be quite easy to run up some window treatments but I need to have a good look around for fabric and see if I can find anything suitable.

Small Marie Antoinette Mini giveaway

Whilst sorting my craft room I came across these Marie Antoinette gift tags, I purchased the gift tag image from an Etsy shop (can't remember which one) and trimmed them with pretty pink ribbon, I also made a thankyou card with one of the images and sprinkled glitter on the card and the gift tags, they look really sparkly but the photo does not really show them at their best.

The gift card.
Please note - my cross stitch blogs name will not be on the original card!

All wrapped in a cello bag ready to send.

Stitching news

I have been making progress on Santas Village, I should have finished this one by now because the next one has arrived, I am hoping to get a move on with this and get it finished.
It looks a bit crumpled because I forgot to iron it.

Freebie Friday

I have made some pretty lace effect digital bookmarks, I will post them on Friday for you to download.
Hopefully I will also have the next cat in the mini series ready, it is a summer cat to add to your collection.

My sister bought me these gorgeous fabrics for my birthday, she knows I love anything Paris related,  I just love them!

This one is ideal for pin keeps or box lids.

This one is ideal for pin cushions

Mmmm - yummy!!!!!

This would be ideal as a quilted pillow

Until next time happy stitching!

Count me in for the draw, if I win I'll show you the photo of me with Big Marie Antoinette Hair!
Love those fabrics you've been gifted, they are so unusual. I couldn't bear to cut into them though, I'd just frame them as prints.
Looking forward to Summer Cat too.

I am a follower. These are great. I also love your new fabric. I wish I could find nice things here in Philadelphia but it is all about production. There is no quality in things anymore. I can't even find interfacing at my craft store.
