A new Mirabilia cross stitch project.

Hi everyone, I usually like to have a large Mirabilia cross stitch project on the go that I like to take my time over, I have decided to stitch this Mirabilia design called Royal Holiday by Nora Corbett, the colours in this are really gorgeous!

I have not had time to do any stitching but I managed to set the fabric up on the frame all ready to start.

The Peacock cross stitch box (in the previous post )  is still a work in progress, hopefully I should make some progress on that over the next few weeks.

There is still time to enter the Cross Stitch Book Giveaway in my previous post.
Thankyou for all of your comments, sorry I could not reply but be assured all the names have gone into a hat ready for the draw.

Until next time - Happy Stitching!

Leave a comment on this post, the giveaway will close on Sunday 13th May.

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

Please note, due to time pressures I will not be able to reply to any emails, but be assured I will enter all names into the hat for the draw.

This book has beautiful illustrations of finished cross stitched designs that can be stitched in two hours, including fans, flowers, children, teddy bears etc. The designer is  Trice Boerens of Ogden, Utah, she is an established crafting author and designer whose areas of expertise include needlework, quilting and paper crafts. She is the author of Lark's new 45 Quilt Blocks series, and authored the original Sterling/Chappelle Two Hour Cross Stitch, which sold over 100,000 copies.

Here are some examples of the designs in the book, the photographs are all taken from the book.

Here is the work in progress for my peacock cross stitch box, I started making this a couple of weeks ago and I have not had time to finish it yet, unfortunately my cross stitch and crafting is on hold at the moment as I am quite busy, but I will be doing some cross stitch, just not as much as I usually do!

I love the fabric that I am going to use for this, I think it contrasts perfectly with the blue thread.
Until next time - Happy Stitching!
