I decided to make my first cross stitched bag with a drawstring top and use a cross stitch design that I finished quite some time ago, the Amitie design is a freebie from Martine’s blog, unfortunately the link is no longer working, I presume the blog has been deleted. (Edited 12 May 2020)
The pinkeep and little pillow I finished for a friend some time ago, you can get the small pillow pattern from my blog here
The free alphabet pattern is available from me, please email me.
I show how to fringe the edge in the photographs below.

On reflection I think I should have put the seam down the side, mmmm!

How to fringe the edge
Cut along the fabric edge
Stitch the fabric about 1cm from the edge in a straight line

Pull the threads like this

until you get to the stitching and there you have it, a nice fringed edge!

Happy stitching!
Best Wishes and Happy Stitching.

Grats on the finishes. They all look lovely. I have no idea how you finish things up so nicely. I frame everything (and I don't even do it myself, lol). Grats!
