Here is the Christmas ornament freebie I promised in my last post, the stitches around the edge with the straight lines are Algerian eyelets, you can see how to stitch these here
The centre stitches are rhodes stitches, you can see a tutorial for this stitch here (thanks ladies for reminding me of the name) I could not work out on my cross stitch designer how best to show it so I have left it blank, you could always put a couple of cross stitches in there to replace it if you cannot see the stitches from the original photo below.
I also don't know why the photo is not clickable, sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't, can anyone help me with this?
Thankyou ladies
I have bought some lovely patterns and stash and I have started another Little House Needlework design, I will be showing that tomorrow.
Happy stitching!

Hi Lynn:) having a quick squint it looks like Rhodes stitch to me :) have stitched your cupcakes and tea .. bobbed it up on my blog last night :) hope you have a wonderful weekend stitching your new LHN :0 love mouse xxx
Another beautiful finish, as always :) Unfortunately I can't increase the piccie clear enough to see the stitches perfectly, but the centre stitches look like Rhodes stitches to me - not sure if that's right though! Good luck in your naming quest :D
That is a beautiful ornament. Thank you so much for sharing. I'll be digging through my stash tomorrow morning to find the perfect fabric and threads.
Thank you, thank you for the freebie :0}

That's beautiful thanks Lynn
Thank you, its lovely
Thanks for the freebie! I'd go with Rhodes stitches too. And I'm so glad I can comment again too xx
Both photos were clickable for me, Lynn. Maybe blogger on the warpath again?? I love the ornie pattern, and have done both Rhodes stitches and Algerian Eyelets before (and on the same pattern, lol) so I'm cool with the specialty stitches. Thanks for the chart!!!
Thank you, Lynn--your ornament freebie is so pretty :)
So beautiful!!!
Thank you for visiting my small blog.
Too cute! Thanks so much :)
Beautiful ornament, thanks for sharing!!
That's such a bright and beautiful design. Also has some varied stitches. Would love to try it out :)
Love the design, but I can't seem to enlarge the pattern enough that I can see it well enough to stitch it. Suggestions?
Soy seguidora tuya pero no sales en mi lista de blogs que sigo. Que habré hecho mal?.
