Edited: I forgot to show the link to the instructions for the fringing on the pillow, please now see below.
Hi everyone, just a little note to let you know I am still here!
It was Jills birthday over at the Purple Peacock blog so I decided to send her this birthday gift. I made a little Christmas ornament from a Prairie Schooler pattern (booklet number 133) and I sent her this Little House Needleworks Pattern - The Travelling Stitcher. The pattern included the threads, it is one of my favourite designers and Jill's too.
The tutorial for the fringing of the pillow can be found on my blog here just scroll down and you will see a Father Christmas Prairie Schooler ornament where I show the instructions.
I just managed to find enough fabric and threads to make Jill this small gift. There are more close up photo's below.
Until next time - Happy Stitching!

Oh gosh, Lynn! I hope those builders start being better about showing up to work! Not good! Sorry you're dealing with that -- I know having your house worked on is not fun, having experienced it several times myself.
I love what you sent Jill. So pretty!
Lovely Gift - Especially crafted in such chaos - Hang in there !!
Glad to hear you are still here. Take care and we will see you when things are better.
I think my previous comment was lost...soooo! I'm so sorry that you are having so many construction problems! I hope that the workers get their act together and get done soon!
You sent Jill a gorgeous gift! I love the way you finish your ornaments...do you have a tutorial for the way you do it?
I love your finishes and this ornament is gorgeous. It won't be long before all of the rubbish a thing of the past and you can sit back and find what you are looking for at first glance.
Be always in stitches.
The gift you made for Jill is just beautiful. I love your finishing of it.
Sorry to hear about the builder woes. I hope you find a way to get their butts in gear.
Lovely - what a treat for Jill. x
Lovely gift! I hope you get out from under the rubble soon!
There's never a way to escape the rubbish...speaking from my summer experience, it will be over and you will forget all about it.
Your gift for Jill is lovely...where did you find the heart charm? The PS finish is great!
Happy Stitching...good luck with your builders!
Beautiful gift for Jill! I hope you get it squared away with the contracters that they show up more often to finish your renovation. It sounds very frustrating!
Lynn,
I am sorry to hear that the renovation is frustrating. I hope the situation improves for you.
You sent Jill a really lovely gift. Your ornaments are always so crisp and pretty.
Hang in there
Oh God Lynn, I can imagine how it would be. We had our french windows changed some time back and they needed to leave the space open over night for the cement to set in. My husband and I took turns staying up the whole night as there was no protection!! Shudder!!
And amidst all these, you not only managed to pull out stuff, you even finished!!! Amazing :)
What a great package you put together for Jill!!! The ornament is awesome!!!!!
Hang in there!!!!! I hope everything will go quickly and smoothly!!!
Oh the joy of remodeling!!!
Love what you made for Jill and the finishing is wonderful.
Ugh....feel for you with the contractors! Great little finish too!

Lynn what a lovely ornament for your friend. It's really hard trying to make something nice when you havent got everything you need at your finger tips but this really is gorgeous.
Wow what a nightmare your builders are. I hope they get their act together and finish your renovations soon.

The ornie you stitched is gorgeous, will be having a look at your tutorial next. Travelling Stitcher is lovely isn't it, I have it in my stash to stitch early next year hopefully.
Thanks ladies for all of the supportive comments, the builders have started to make some progress, I will show some more pictures when I get chance.
The old kitchen has been removed, this is the room that will become my craft room eventually.
I have bought some lovely pink paint for the walls but I will have to see what it looks like when I do a test patch!
Happy stitching everyone!
